COAS Calls for Deeper Collaboration Between Ghana Army And SETAF-AF

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu has called for a deeper collaboration between the Ghana Army and the Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF). This is in line with his vision to maintain a motivated Army grounded on core military values, enabled by adaptive technologies and platforms capable of projecting decisive land power as part of the Ghana Armed Forces.The COAS made this call during the Association of United States Army’s inaugural LANDEURO symposium and exposition in Wiesbaden, Germany.Also as part of the event, Maj Gen Gbetanu held a brief discussion with the Commanding General of the United States Army, Europe and Africa, General Christopher Donahue on security-related innovations to equip the Ghana Army to enhance its operational efficiency. He also had a discussion with General Robert B Brown, the President and CEO of the Association of the US Army on collaboration.
