COAS Pays Operational Visit to 3 Garrison

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu as part of his maiden visits to various Army Units and Military Installations , has paid an operational visit to Units in the 3 Garrison comprising 3 Infantry Battalion (3Bn), 154 Armoured Regiment and the Armour Training School (ATS). The visit which took place on Wednesday 18 June 2025 at Liberation Barracks, Sunyani was to familiarize himself with the troops of the Units. The COAS as part of the visit toured Unit installations and inspected some ongoing projects. His visit was climaxed with an all ranks durbar where he interacted with the troops. During the durbar he assured the reinstatement of several Army programs and competitions aimed at building a more resilient force, fully prepared to meet current and future operational demands. In his closing remarks, the Chief of the Army Staff, Major General Gbetanu, urged personnel to uphold loyalty and professionalism so as to cultivate an environment where individual excellence contributes to collective strength and mission success.
