The Regular Career Course 35(RCC 35) and Short Service Commission /Special Duties Course 34 (SSC/SD 34) have renovated and handed over a fully refurbished kindergarten (KG) block to Dzolokpuita Community in the Ho West District of the Volta Region on Friday 1 August 2025.
The over 140,000 Ghana Cedis project was previously in a deplorable state which posed safety hazards and disrupted effective teaching and learning. The renovated KG block now have modern classroom furniture creating a safe and child-friendly learning environment.
The leader of the delegation, Brigadier General Eric Konadu in a remark stated that, the project was part of Civil-Military Cooperation efforts as well as to commemorate the Intake’s 30th anniversary celebration.
He again explained that the Intake chose Dzolokpuita because it was one of the exercise areas used to train the intake about 30 years ago and also based on an assessment conducted by the Education Directorate.
Brigadier General Eric Konadu concluded by urging the community to ensure the proper use and maintenance of the facility to guarantee it's purpose.
The District Director of Education for Ho West, Mrs Paulina Gobe commended the Intake for their kind gesture and called on other institutions and individuals to support the communities with similar interventions.
