The Ghana Battalion (GHANBATT) serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), on Monday 16 June 2025, held a medals presentation parade at the Battalion Headquarters, UNP 5-66, Al Qawzah. 
The medals presentation parade honoured the outstanding service and contributions of UNIFIL GHANBATT 91 personnel, recognizing their dedication, bravery, and commitment to peacekeeping operations. 
In his address, the Guest of Honour, the Sector West Commander, Brig Gen Nichola Mandolesi, commended the Commanding Officer, Lt Col Isaac Kobe Boako, Officers and Soldiers of GHANBATT 91 for the exemplary leadership, dedication and professionalism in the discharge of duties even in the midst of hostilities. 
The ceremony was attended by the Ghanaian Contingent Commander, Col Michael Kwame Mfum, senior military officers, mayors of communities within GHANBATT’s Area of Operational Responsibility as well as staff officers from UNIFIL Headquarters and Sector West Headquarters.
