The 7 Garrison of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) in collaboration with sister security services, has conducted a joint route march on Tuesday 23 December 2025, at Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana.
The route march formed part of activities marking the Yuletide and was aimed at reassuring the general public of the unwavering commitment of GAF and other security services in maintaining peace, safety and security throughout the festive season, covering a distance of nearly 13 kilometers.
Personnel from the Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Immigration Service, Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Prisons Service participated in the exercise.
Addressing the troops after the march, the Volta Regional Minister, Honorable (Hon) James Gunu, commended the security services for their professionalism, discipline and patriotism, assuring the public of a peaceful and crime-free Christmas and New Year celebrations in the region.
Dignitaries present included the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Training Command; Commodore James Adongo Agambire, Brigade Commander of the 16 Artillery Brigade; Brigadier General Selorm Kwesi Amengor, the Commanding Officer of the 66 Artillery Regiment; Lieutenant Colonel Jalali Din Ibrahim and the Commanding Officer of the Artillery Training School, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Atuiri.
