7 Medical Reception Station Holds Two -Day Breast Cancer Awareness Program.

The 7 Medical Reception Station (7MRS) organized a two-day breast cancer awareness program aimed at promoting early detection and healthy lifestyle among female soldiers, wives and the general public on Thursday 15 October and Friday 16 October 2025 at 66 Artillery Regiment in Ho.

The event featured a health walk and free breast screening, attracting female soldiers, wives and the surrounding community. Participants were educated on the importance of regular breast self-examinations, early diagnosis and seeking prompt medical attention for any unusual changes.

The Senior Medical Officer in charge of the 7 Medical Reception Station, Flight Lieutenant Charles Selikem Azadagli also provided counseling sessions and distributed educational flyers on breast health.

The initiative formed part of ongoing efforts by the 7 Medical Reception Station to support preventive healthcare and raise awareness about breast cancer, in line with world health organization campaigns marking Breast Cancer Awareness month.
