The campaign was intended to sensitize female students of the Save our Soul (SOS) School and the people of Guinea Bissau on breast cancer, under the theme “Early detection and Prevention”.

The RRPC concluded by clarifying that, the Breast Cancer Awareness initiative was to demonstrate the commitment of ECOWAS Representation Office and the stabilization Support Mission to stand in solidarity with women and girls of Guinea Bissau.

HE Ambassador Ngozi on behalf of ECOWAS donated Sanitary pads to all female students and teachers of the SOS school.

Present at the occasion were the Force Commander, Brigadier General Edward Odinya Ojabo, the ESSMGB Gender Adviser, Dr Aisha Yanet, Senior government officials of Guinea Bissau and Commanders of all contingents.
