EWEVI Multimedia Limited Pays Courtesy Call on Coas

A delegation from Ewevi24 Multimedia Limited, organizers of the Experience Volta in Accra Festival, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Eric Seyram Agbolosu, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu, at the Army Headquarters on Thursday, 30 October 2024.The visit aimed to formally brief the COAS on the upcoming Experience Volta in Accra Festival, scheduled to take place at the El wak Sports Stadium, and to officially invite him as the Special Guest of Honour for the grand durbar of the event. The COAS warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his profound gratitude to the organizers, adding that his office remains open for any necessary assistance. The delegation, in turn, acknowledged the COAS’s role as custodian of the El wak Sports Stadium and commended his efforts in promoting the image of the Volta Region within the Ghana Army. Addressing the COAS, Mr. Eric Seyram Agbolosu explained that the festival seeks to showcase the rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, and creative excellence of the Volta Region while fostering unity and national cohesion. He emphasized that the initiative also aims to celebrate distinguished Voltarians and Ghanaians who have excelled in various fields of endeavour. He further noted that among those to be honoured for exceptional leadership and national service is the Chief of the Army Staff, whose dedication to duty continues to inspire many across the country. Speaking at the meeting, the Chief of Aflao, Torgbui Honu II Mayork, highlighted that the Experience Volta in Accra Festival is expected to attract traditional leaders, government officials, diplomats, and members of the general public. The organizers assured the COAS of their commitment to delivering a memorable and culturally enriching celebration. Also in attendance were the Chief of Akatsi, Torgbui Agbolosu, Torgbui Anoky from Weta, members of the Ewe24 News Team, and traditional leaders representing Torgbuiga Amenya Fiti Afzongaga V, Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area.
