GAF 2025 Recruitment Screening Underway at TRADOC HQ

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) today resumed the 2025/2026 recruitment screening exercise across selected centres in the Greater Accra Region, following a temporary suspension earlier this month. At the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Headquarters in Teshie, two screening centres were activated, with the process conducted under tight security and strengthened safety protocols. Despite hundreds of applicants arriving as early as 0430 hours, queues remained orderly due to strict access control at the main gate. Only applicants who had received official SMS notifications were permitted entry, and military personnel ensured that all reported according to their assigned batches.A dedicated medical team is present throughout the exercise, while officers supervise document verification and initial physical assessments to ensure a smooth and transparent process. In a related development, the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Maj Gen Lawrence Gbetanu, paid a familiarisation visit to the two centres on Thursday, 20 November 2025. The visit aimed to obtain first-hand information and monitor the ongoing recruitment procedures. He was accompanied by the TRADOC Commandant, Commodore Maxwell Arhen, and other senior officers from the General Headquarters.
