The General Officer Commanding (GOC), Northern Command (N/COMD) – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Worlanyo Agbebo has paid an operational visit to 11 Mechanized Battalion troops deployed in Chereponi on Wednesday 8 October 2025. 
The visit was to evaluate the operational readiness, welfare and morale of troops deployed in the area. During his interaction with the troops, the GOC commended them for their dedication towards work and admonished them to maintain high morale despite the challenging nature of their deployment and resource constraint. 
Brig Gen Agbebo also charged troops to uphold professionalism and remain committed to their duties, highlighting the importance of personal hygiene and care of equipment.
He urged them to handle their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) well and desist from any form of recruitment fraud.
