The Headquarters Central Command (Camp) has held an Elevation and Re-affirmation Ceremony for its newly promoted soldiers on Friday 4 April 2025 at Adinkra Mess, Idris Barracks, Kumasi.
The ceremony was attended by the General Officer Commanding Central Command, Brigadier General Michael Kwadwo Opoku, the Command Operations Officer, Col Henry Ansah-Akrofi, some Staff Officers of the Command, the Command Sergeant Major, SWOI Kalasi Daniel, some Regimental Sergeant Majors and a host of other personnel.
The GSOII (Ops/ Trg), Major Allen Akwei Hammond who spoke on behalf of the Commanding Officer, Lt Col Sparatus Baninyeni indicated that the Command had recognised their outstanding achievements and unwavering dedication to duty hence their well deserved promotion. He encouraged them to aspire for greater responsibility to lead, train and inspire the younger ones positively.
He urged them to continue to strive for excellence in all that they do, by pushing themselves to new heights and upholding the standard of the Ghana Armed Forces.
He further advised them to make progress in their career, embracing opportunity for growth and personal development, and reminded them that the core values that the Ghana Armed Forces holds dear are discipline, integrity and service to the nation.
