JWS Inaugurates Photo Studio and Chaplaincy Office

The Jungle Warfare School (JWS) has achieved a milestone by constructing a Chaplaincy office and a Photo studio for the unit. This feat marks the first time in the history of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) that such facilities have been built at the Jungle Warfare School.The two facilities were inaugurated on Friday, 27 December 2024, at Akim Achiase in the Eastern Region.

The projects are part of the Commanding Officer (CO), Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Jacob Cudjoe's infrastructural development drive aimed to position the school among the best in West Africa.According to Lt Col Cudjoe, the photo studio will facilitate effective photography work and strengthen the Public Relations outfit in the Unit.The CO also indicated that the new Chaplaincy office, a first for the school since its establishment in 1976, would enhance the work of the Unit Chaplain and provide a conducive atmosphere for counseling troops and praying for the unit.

Lt Col Cudjoe expressed profound gratitude to GT Bank for sponsoring the projects to augment the school’s efforts and commitment to excellence and the well-being of its personnel.
