Lieutenant Colonel Robert Laryea Okorley has officially assumed duty as Headmaster of the Armed Forces Senior High and Technical School (AFSHTS), Kumasi, taking over from Colonel Godwin Agbekey. The brief but dignified handing-over ceremony took place on Friday, 31 October 2025. The ceremony was supervised by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Central Command, Brigadier General Albert Sison Ogaja.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Ogaja commended Colonel Agbekey for his dedication and contributions to the school during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The GOC also congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Okorley on his new appointment, urging him to lead with integrity and purpose. He prayed for divine guidance and success in his stewardship of the institution.
Also present at the ceremony were the Command Logistics Officer, Colonel John Frempong-Manso and the Zonal Internal Auditor, Kumasi Metro, Mrs Vida Ohenewaa Agyei.
