SISL Management Team Pays Courtesy Call on COAS to Strengthen Collaboration

The management team of Services Integrity Savings and Loans (SISL), led by their Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Madam Lydia Daddy, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu, at the Army Headquarters, Burma Camp, on Tuesday, 26 August 2025. Madam Lydia stated that the visit was timely to officially congratulate Major General Gbetanu on his appointment as COAS and Chairman of the Ghana Armed Forces Provident Fund Board.  She took the opportunity to outline SISL’s expectations as a GAF-affiliated institution and to seek command’s assistance in supporting the institution entrusted to their care. She further appealed for increased support from the Military High Command as SISL pursues a two-step growth strategy to expand and build revenue, aiming to meet the standards required to become a bank.  Madam Lydia also emphasized the importance of nominating service officers to SISL’s management board, leveraging their expertise to foster the organization’s growth. As a token of appreciation for the warm reception, she presented the COAS with a commemorative plaque. In response, the COAS expressed gratitude to the SISL team for their visit and well wishes. He acknowledged that the concerns raised were valid and aligned with mutual interests.  He further assured continued support from High Command and noted that some of the recommendations had already been taken into consideration. He urged the SISL team to maintain top performance in serving their customers, particularly GAF personnel, to ensure their satisfaction.
