The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Ghana Battalion (GHANBATT) 91, held its maiden Band Concert on Friday, 27 December 2024, as part of activities for the festive season at the Battalion Headquarters, Al Qawzah.
The Band Concert featured performances from the GHANBATT Regimental and Popular Bands, under the command of the Band Officer, Capt Peter Kweku Amoah.
The guest of honour for the event was the Commanding Officer (CO) UNIFIL GHANBATT 91, Lt Col IK Boako. In his remarks, he expressed gratitude to key appointment holders and troops for their support and hard work.
He further expressed appreciation to the Band for their dedication and sacrifice in making the event successful.
The Band Concert was attended by troops as well as some Staff Officers from UNIFIL HQ, Naqoura.
