Warrant Officer Korankye Makes History at Joint Warrant Officers Course 2024

Warrant Officer Class One (WOI) Oduro-Korankye Fred of Headquarters Support Services Command has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first representative from West Africa, specifically Ghana, to participate in the prestigious Joint Warrant Officers Course 2024 at the South African Warrant Officers Academy.

 

WOI Oduro-Korankye took it a step further by receiving the best achiever award, placing first as the best international learner on the Joint Warrant Officers Course 2024.

 

The Joint Warrant Officers Course, which ran from Monday, 22 January to Friday, 22 November 2024, was a highly respected program that brought together senior military personnel from various countries, including South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, and Uganda. The course focused on enhancing skills and knowledge in Multi-National Safety and Security Operations Management, awarding participants with a national certificate recognized by the South African Qualification Authority.

 

With the rich experience gained from the course, WOI Oduro-Korankye pledged to contribute to enhancing operational readiness within the Ghana Armed Forces, sharing his advanced skills and insights with fellow service personnel.

 

His achievements serve as a shining example of Ghana's commitment to military excellence and cooperation.
