Lt Col Steve Carter Pays Courtesy Call on COAS

A Delegation from the United Kingdom (UK) Range Regiment led by the Commanding Officer (CO) 2 Ranger, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Steve Carter has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Bismarck Kwasi Onwona on Thursday, 12 September, 2024 in his Office at the Army Headquarters, Burma Camp.

The purpose of the call was to thank Command for the opportunity to allow the UK Range Regiment to take over from the French Regiment to help the Ghana Army Special Operations Training School (ASOTS) with the needed support from the British ASOTS.

The COAS commended the team for their cooperation at various levels as well as the support given to the Special Forces. He looked forward to the embedment of elements that would bring on board more professionals and harmonize activities with other partners to maximize capacity building, training and equipment of the Special Forces.
