The 6 Garrison in collaboration with the Yakubu Tali International Airport Tamale has conducted an Emergency Evacuation Exercise codenamed ‘Exercise TAHABU’ within the premises of the airport. The Exercise, which was part of the airport’s Safety Week Celebration was held on Tuesday, 26 November 2024.
This activity aligns with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 14, Chapter 9, which mandates all airports to organize full-scale Emergency Evacuation Exercises at intervals not exceeding two years.
