The Headquarters Northern Command has commenced its maiden non-denominational Religious Service.The Service which commenced on Sunday 2 February 2025, at the Command Headquarters, Camp Nyohini under the auspices of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Frank Nartey Tei was themed “ In times like this, who do you trust’’.The Command Chaplain-Reverend Lieutenant John Armah Asiem in his sermon entreated troops to seek the face of God especially in a world full of uncertainties, sorrow and disappointments. He urged them to trust and establish personal relations with God in all endeavours.
Speaking at the service, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Northern Command, Brigadier General Frank Nartey Tei, encouraged all to remain steadfast and uphold righteousness in every area of their lives since they are essential to their spiritual upliftment. He cited God’s divine protection over the troops throughout the year 2025 and urged them to seek divine guidance in all activities especially in the pursuit of knowledge and to make God the center of all their undertakings.The Service brought together Staff Officers and personnel under the Command as well as students on the Tygra Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) Orientation Cadre.Copyright 2025 Ghana Army - All Rights Reserved
