HQ Central Command Camp Holds Initiation, Elevation and Re-Affirmation for Personnel

Headquarters Central Command Camp of the Ghana Army has held an initiation, elevation and re-affirmation for personnel under command on Friday, 16 August 2024 at the Adinkra Mess.The event was to welcome the newly promoted Sergeants and to elevate the Staff Sergeants and WOIIs as well as to Re-affirm the newly promoted WOIs.The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Central Command, Brig Gen Michael Opoku speaking at the event congratulated them on their respective promotions and charged them to work hard and be professional at all time. He indicated that a lot is demanded of them and that they should not do anything to tarnish their image and that of the Ghana Army. As part of the event, the GOC commissioned the renovated Adinkra Mess Guest House and presented 5 sets of Air-conditioners ,5 table top refrigerators, 6 sets of television, 5 beds and 5 mattresses to the mess. The President of the messing committee (PMC) WOl Tuou Robert thanked the GOC for the gesture and pledged that the facility would be properly maintained.
