A two-member delegation from Services Integrity Savings and Loans (SIS&L), led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Madam Lydia Daddy, visited the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Lawrence Kwaku Gbetanu, at the Army Headquarters on Wednesday, 7 May 2025.
The visit provided an opportunity for SIS&L to introduce themselves as stakeholders of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Provident Fund to the COAS , who is the Chairman of the board of trustees for the Fund, and address key issues to enhance the fund’s management and benefits for GAF personnel.
Madam Lydia Daddy congratulated the COAS on his appointment and praised the long standing collaboration between SIS&L and the Armed Forces, expressing confidence in a successful partnership under his leadership. She assured the COAS of SIS&L’s commitment to serving GAF personnel with excellence.
Major General Gbetanu commended SIS&L for its contributions to the fund’s progress and emphasized its importance to the welfare of GAF personnel. He urged them to maintain credibility and manage the fund effectively for the maximum benefit of personnel. As a token of appreciation, he presented Madam Daddy with a plaque and a customized Ghana Army Kente Stole.
Also present were Director General Legal Services, Brigadier General Charles Gbekle, Director Resettlement, Colonel Joseph Kobla Buame and SIS&L's Chief Operations Officer (COO), Mr Collins Appiah.
