The 7 Garrison has held its end of year Non-denominational Religious Parade on Sunday 24 November 2024 at the St Ignatius Catholic Church, Volta Barracks, Ho.The event which brought together troops from the 66 Artillery Regiment, Artillery Training School and the Naval Training Command was under the theme "Thus far the Lord has helped us". The Guest Preacher Rt Rev Matthew Zikpi who took his sermon from 1 Samuel 7:7-13 and Luke 8:22-25 was full of gratitude for how far the Lord has brought them.Imam Yussif Abdul Wahab in a word of exhortation was also thankful for Allah's protection throughout the year. The Commanding Officer of the 66 Artillery Regiment, Lt Col Jalali Din Ibrahim, in his remarks, admonished troops to continue to be loyal to the Armed Forces and Mother Ghana. He equally advised troops to exhibit high sense of professionalism at this critical time as Ghana gets ready to go to the polls. Lt Col Ibrahim concluded by thanking all troops for their dedication, hard work and support throughout the year. The Religious Parade was graced by Lt Col Patrick Atuiri, Commanding Officer for Artillery Training School, and Lt Col Felix Opoku, GSO1 16 Artillery Brigade.
