A delegation of newly promoted Brigadier Generals of the Ghana Army has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Army Staff, Maj Gen Bismarck Kwasi Onwona in his office on Monday 9 September, 2024. The purpose of the courtesy call was to thank the COAS for their elevation and pledge their unflinching loyalty and support towards the COAS vision for the Ghana Army.The members of the delegation were Brig Gen MO Mantey, Deputy Commander, Support Services Command, Brig Gen RA Kinney, Commander 14 Engineer Brigade, Brig Gen JB Mwinyel, Deputy Chief Staff Officer (Logistics) Army Headquarters and Brig Gen EO Nyante, Deputy Chief Staff Officer (Administration) Army Headquarters.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Brig Gen Mantey indicated their resolve to work in any capacity they find themselves towards the successful accomplishment of the mission of the Ghana Army and that of the Ghana Armed Forces in general.

The COAS congratulated the Generals on their promotion and wished them well in their respective appointments. He further admonished them to ensure that the confidence reposed in them would reflect in their job output as well as their relationship with all ranks including Defence Civilian Staff.
