The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, has held a conference with General Officers Commanding (GOCs) and Brigade Commanders of the Ghana Army, to examine to ascertain the extent to which the Army Command Operational Directives (ACOD) has served or guided the activities of the Commands and Brigades.
The Conference, held on Thursday 6 July 2023, at the Army Headquarters (AHQ), reviewed the Army’s strategic and operational targets for the year 2023, and further discussed its operational objectives in line with the vision and policy directives of the COAS.
The Conference was attended by Acting GOC, Southern Command, and Commander, Operation KOUDANLGOU – Maj Gen Michael Ayisi Amoah; GOC, Northern Command – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Michael Essien; GOC Central Command – Brig Gen Charles Agyemang-Prempeh.
