The Ghana Army and Villandro Ghana Company Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, October 3 2023, to operationalize and manage the Ghana Army Lodge in Kumasi. This partnership marks a historic milestone for the Army in its bid to provide quality and competitive hospitality services for citizens and personnel.
The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Maj Gen T Oppong Peprah who signed the MOU on behalf of the Army stated that, high command intends to replicate this service across the country in the nearest future.On his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Villandro Company Limited, Mr Kwame Sowu said his company cherishes its partnership with the Army and assured command of the highest standards always. He noted that the necessary administrative and logistical requirements will be completed for operations at the lodge to commence in four weeks.Present to witness the signing were the Chief of Staff at the General Headquarters, Maj Gen P Andoh, Deputy Chief Staff Officer (Logistics) at the Army Headquarters, Brig Gen KKK Kumi, Chief G4, Col JKN Amenya, Army Secretary and Col W Ackah.The COAS commissions project in Central Command
