A Religious Induction Church Service was held on Sunday 08 October, 2023 to induct 702 Recruits into Basic Infantry Training Course 1-23 of the Army Special Operations Training School (ASOTS), Daboya.

Preaching on the theme; “The Soldier’s Call”, Flight Lieutenant Gershon Dotse entreated the recruits to always be loyal to God and to their Commanding Officer (CO).

The Garrison Imam, Abdul Rahim Yamusa in his homily, urged the recruits to be grateful to God for their acceptance to ASOTS and to imbibe the spirit of unity.Addressing the gathering as the Guest of Honour, the Command Operations Officer (COO), Northern Command, Colonel FWK Agbebo on behalf of the General Officer Commanding Northern Command congratulated the recruits for opting to heed to the national call of being a soldier.

He averred that only determination, commitment and dedication to the training would ensure they pass out successfully from the training.
