The Chief Of The Army Staff (COAS) – Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah Commissioned Two Accommodation Facilities For Recruits And Future Armour Young Officer Students At The Armour Training School (ATS), Liberation Barracks Sunyani.

The 250 Bed Capacity Recruits Accommodation, Which Was Conceived And Funded Under The COAS Quick Impact Housing Project Scheme, Was Outdoored On Thursday 29 December 2022. The COAS Indicated That The Innovative Young Officers’ Accommodation Block Would Enable ATS Run Its “Maiden Flagship Armour Young Officers’ Career Course In The Near Future”.

He Further Lauded The Cooperation Of The Three Commanding Officers And The Team Spirit Behind All The Accomplishments In 3 Garrison. The Commanding Officer Of ATS – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) D Buah Said The Construction Of The Officers’ Accommodation Unit Was Supported By The Chief Of The Defence Staff (CDS) – Vice Admiral Seth Amoama As Well As Individual And Corporate Friends Of ATS. The COAS’ Entourage Included The Deputy Chief Of Staff In Charge Of Logistics – Maj Gen JP Osei-Owusu, 15 Armoured Brigade Commander – Brgadier General (Brig Gen) B Gah, Deputy Chief Staff Officer (Logistics) At The Army Headquarters, Brig Gen KKK Kumi And The The Sergeant Major Of The Army, MWO Ansah Yeboah I. Other Dignitaries Present Were The Bono Regional Minister, Hon Justina Owusu Banahene, Deputy Commander ATRAC, Col SWK Parbey As Well As The Dormaahemaa, Dr Nana Akosua Dwabeng And Chiraahemaa, Nana Yeboah Pene II.
